GasStations.com Debuts as Online Marketplace for Buying and Selling Stores

ST. LOUIS -- A new Web site designed to facilitate the buying and selling of gas stations, convenience stores and store equipment is set to debut today. GasStations.com will offer free listings for storeowners to list their stores or used equipment for sale.

"Right now, most people pay to go through online realtors to sell their store, or through classified ads to sell their equipment," said the site's owner, Terry Monroe. "GasStations.com is the only industry-specific site where people can not only list their stores, but also list their equipment for sale. And it's absolutely free."

Monroe is also president and COO of American Business Brokers, a national business brokerage company based in St. Louis as well as a financial columnist for Convenience Store News and Convenience Store News for the Single Store Owner.

Visitors seeking to buy or sell stores or equipment can log onto the website and register for free. Once registered, users can post a description, or listing, of the unit(s) for sale, while also posting pictures and contact information. In addition, there are also listing areas for store equipment, a users' forum, and search tools for potential buyers or sellers to help locate units or items in specific ranges or categories.
