Fuel Rescue

Longtime fuel transport driver Larry Snyder invented a way to save fuel drippings when measuring the levels in underground storage tanks, and developed a business to market the product to gas retailers. Called Fuel Rescue, the unit slips tightly over the fuel measuring stick and acts as a squeegee when pulling the measuring stick out of the tank. When measuring underground tank levels, Fuel Rescue pours excess fuel back in the tank. Based on an average load count of 15 deliveries per day, a gas station would save 120 gallons per year, according to the company. Each unit costs $19.95.
