The Energy Exchange Unveils "Dealer 2 Dealer" Program

LAS VEGAS -- The Energy Exchange, a Chicago-based real estate firm specializing in the sale of service stations and convenience stores, is launching its new "Dealer 2 Dealer" program at NACS 2004 (booth 5424).

"The 'D2D' program is unique in that individual gas station and convenience store owners have a company to turn to that can help them value the property, nationally market it and get them top dollar," said Phil Boyd, managing director and founder of The Energy Exchange. "The trump card is that we are doing all of this for them confidentially without disturbing their business."

The goal of the new program is three-fold: to maintain flow of operations of convenience store and petroleum facilities while confidentially looking for potential buyers; to assure the highest possible price for properties to aid independents and individual owners in their retirement plans or to upgrade to a larger store; and to realize the maximum price for the sale without disrupting the business.

According to Mark Raccuia, executive vice president of The Energy Exchange, "D2D is ideal for both a good share of our customer base and for the industry at large, because now there are experts that understand the petroleum business representing them. This program allows smaller businesses the opportunity to have a customized marketing program tailored to satisfy their needs and expose their property locally, regionally and nationally."

Boyd added, "Unlike business brokers, clearinghouses/auctioneers and general realtors who sell all types of real estate, The Energy Exchange specializes in just the petroleum industry. We provide a service for individual owners that only major companies and large distributors traditionally would receive."
