ELS Acquires 25 Percent Interest in National Executive Personnel

FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Executive Leadership Solutions (ELS) purchased a 25 percent stake in the defunct executive search firm, National Executive Personnel & Marketing Group LLC (NEP), reported ELS Managing Partner Brian Wright.

National Executive Personnel recently dissolved, and the former leadership and executive recruiters have left to pursue other interests. Beth Ann Scharrer, trustee for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa division offered for sale a 25 percent interest in the company's assets. ELS was the high bidder and the purchase closed on Oct. 21.

Executive Leadership Solutions purchased the interest in National Executive Personnel based upon NEP's long-recognized name in the area of convenience store recruitment, and the opportunity to add value to its operations, which Wright said are virtually non-existent.

"It would be sad if this long-term business in the area of c-store recruitment were to fade away into the dark night without at least some attempt to resurrect the strengths of that business," Wright said in a statement. "NEP has suffered from the withdraw or lack of participation of its principals, recruiting staff and leadership."

With the resources, connections and expertise of Executive Leadership Solutions now involved, Wright is hopeful the company can, in some way, continue to benefit the c-store industry.

Executive Leadership Solutions is the largest executive search firm specializing in executive recruitment for the convenience store, petroleum and travel center industries.
