Dash In Debuts All-New Store Design
WALDORF, Md. -- Dash In Food Stores Inc. unveiled a new store design at its latest location in Fairway Village.
Customers got an up-close look at the new convenience store at a grand-opening event on June 14. The 3,200-square-foot store, located at the corner of Billingsley Road and St. Charles Parkway, offers patrons competitive fuel pricing, a Splash In Eco Car Wash and fresh, healthy snacks, drinks and grocery items.
"The fast-growing Fairway Village neighborhood is the perfect location to launch our newly designed Dash In," said Lock Wills, chairman and CEO of The Wills Group, the convenience store franchise operator of Dash In. "We are delighted at the opportunity to serve local families and community members with our premier lineup of fresh foods, quality car washes and competitive fuel prices."
The Waldorf location is the 60th Dash In store in the Delmarva region and has been specifically designed to capture a customer's attention from the road. The forecourt and exterior signage are streamlined with bright and white racing colors -- highlighting the store's speed and quick service -- and complemented by brick-trim finishes, landscaping and a powerful five-brush car wash that has drivers in and out in five minutes.
Inside features of the store include rich wood fixtures, granite countertops and wood grain floor tiles that accentuate Dash In's modern and contemporary feel. In a nod to the surrounding area, a filmstrip of historical images stretches across the walls and pays homage to the charm and beauty of southern Maryland.
In addition, throughout the store, Dash In has included digital monitors that highlight the day's menu options and monthly promotions.
New to the Dash In brand, the Waldorf location features a self-serve gourmet grill bar, offering menu items such as breakfast sausages, bratwursts and all-beef hot dogs. The c-store also features a made-to-order section that allows customers to build their own focaccias, flatbreads, subs and artisanal sandwiches.
Menu options also include Dash In's best-selling signature spicy wings, potato wedges and regionally famous Slide Inz.
