Crowley Adds Alaska Shell Stations to Its Wholesale Network

ANCHORAGE, Alaska -- Crowley Maritime Corp.’s Alaska distribution division is adding eight Shell Oil service stations to its wholesale network, The Associated Press reported.

Through an agreement reached last week, the company will make wholesale purchases of Shell motor fuel and then distribute the fuel to the eight independently owned stations, located in Anchorage and Eagle River.

Crowley now serves dealers at all 17 Shell-branded stations in Alaska, including the three owned by itself. The other stations are located in Kenai and the Matanuska-Susitna Borough.
