ConocoPhillips Awards Free Gas for Life
SPOKANE, Wash. -- For nearly all Americans, gas prices are a volatile issue, but not Crystal Waggy, who will fill up her Ford F150 pickup without concern because for the rest of her life, Concoco will pick up her fuel bill.
Waggy, a regular "Win Gas for Life" player, won the lifetime grand prize from a recent Conoco, 76 and Phillips 66 promotion that awarded free gas for a year to 23 others in nine states.
"To tell you the truth, I didn’t really believe it when I saw it," Waggy said in a statement. "I thought, ‘this isn’t for real.’ But it was!"
In total, 3,800 prizes were awarded, noted Kathleen Post, promotions director for ConocoPhillips.
"We wanted drivers to experience the benefits of using Conoco, 76 and Phillips 66 gasoline, that helps maximize mileage and reduce emissions," Post said in a statement. "One way to help drivers get those benefits is to give away free gas and a chance at never having to buy gas again."
