Cody's Partners with Local Grocer for Gas Promotion
SPRINGFIELD, Mo. -- As the summer driving season heats up, Cody's Convenience Stores has launched a program with RPCS Inc. -- parent company to the Ramey, Price Cutter, Price Cutter Plus, and Smitty's grocery store chains -- to offer a 2-cent discount per gallon when the grocer’s customers present a $30 or more receipt at the pump.
The promotion, which will run through the end of August, is only valid on receipts no more than 30 days old, according to The News-Leader.
"With gas prices so high again this summer, we wanted to find a way to help ease the pain at the gas pumps," Rob Marsh, director of planning and development for RPCS, said. "It's just another way for us to let our customers know how much we appreciate them."
