Chevron and Texaco Retail Locations To Accept Fleet One Fuel Cards

SAN RAMON, Calif. -- Chevron Products Co. announced the addition of Fleet One fuel card to its portfolio of payment methods accepted at Chevron- and Texaco-branded retail locations.

Chevron's partnership with Fleet One, a financial services provider to companies with vehicle fleets, will now allow customers who carry a Fleet One card the opportunity to purchase fuel, maintenance, and road-related services at more than 10,000 participating Chevron and Texaco retail gasoline locations -- including airports, marinas and quick lubricant sites
-- nationwide, the company reported.

"We are pleased to offer our commercial fueling customers another quality choice in payment methods at our locations, and we look forward to a long relationship with Fleet One," said Danny Roden, vice president of Chevron North America Marketing. "They are a growing customer-focused company committed to the needs of business consumers. They will be a great partner for Chevron."

In addition to providing Fleet One's customers more options for purchasing fuel, it also provides Chevron and Texaco retailers and marketers the opportunity to acquire new commercial customers who may not have been able to transact at their sites in the past.

Furthermore, Fleet One's fuel card customer base has a particularly strong presence in the Southeast, which will assist Chevron and Texaco retailers and marketers in strengthening commercial customer relationships in this region. Fleet One has also expanded its footprint in the West, where Chevron already has a strong market presence and can be a key partner to further increase Fleet One's presence there.

Fleet One will be notifying its fleet card holders that Chevron and Texaco locations are now accepting Fleet One cards, and the Fleet One fuel card graphic will also be displayed with storefront-window decals illustrating all of the major credit cards accepted at Chevron- and Texaco-branded locations.
