CEFCO Grows Bigger in Texas With Two New Stores

TEMPLE, Texas -- CEFCO Convenience Stores has added two new Texas locations to its portfolio. A new store in Killeen opened on May 11, and another in Temple opened yesterday, May 22.

Both convenience stores are part of parent company Fikes Wholesale Inc.'s growth strategy to add up to 10 organic locations in 2012, in addition to the 128 Food Fast and Taylor Food Mart c-stores it brought into the fold since August 2011.

These two new prototype locations reflect the CEFCO organization's latest design for its next generation of stores. The design incorporates a number of innovative enhancements made possible by an open, fresh design with modern treatments and upgraded finishes, according to the company.

"We invite the public to visit these new CEFCO locations and be treated to an exciting shopping experience unmatched by any other local convenience retailer," said Brett Giesick, CEFCO's chief retail officer. "We believe that the enhancements built into this site reflect our core values of providing the best customer experience for every customer, every day."

CEFCO now operates 253 convenience stores within the states of Alabama, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas.
