BW Gas & Convenience Expands Management Team

BEVERLY, Mass. — BW Gas & Convenience Holdings LLC, an affiliate of real estate investment and private equity firm ​Brookwood Financial Partners LLC, added several new members to its management team.

Lisa Dodson, Kolby Jones, Greg Penman, Tony Sparks and Rebecca Teiken will fill a variety of roles at the convenience store and gas station operator that has plans to expand its portfolio to between 600 and 1,000 stores over the next several years.

Dodson will serve as pricebook manager and be responsible for operating the company's pricebook database and coordinating product set-ups and price changes in alignment with in-store promotions. She previously served as a center store pricing and assortment manager for Dahl's Foods and a pricebook manager for Kum & Go LC, where she implemented the PDI Enterprise system in more than 400 stores.

Both Jones and Penman will serve as regional directors of acquisitions and be responsible for acquiring additional gas stations with convenience stores in the Midwest region. Jones previously served as director of business development for Ecosystem Services Exchange and as a real estate development representative for Kum & Go, where he was responsible for deal negotiation, acquisition and development of potential store locations for the Iowa, Colorado, Nebraska, South Dakota, North Dakota and Wyoming territory. Penman previously served as a real estate manager for Walmart and a real estate project manager for Delek US Holdings Inc.

Sparks will serve as vice president of merchandising and be responsible for managing all merchandising department activities including pricing, product mix, placement and promotional activity for all categories and locations. He previously serves as vice president of marketing for Southwest "C" Stores, director of marketing for Family Express Inc. and a national category manager for 7-Eleven Inc.

Teiken will serve as senior information technology manager and be responsible for leading all connectivity and technology initiatives. She previously served as a project manager for Drop Tank and an IT program manager for BP plc, where she was responsible for developing a training program for 4,000 employees across 1,700 sites throughout the United States.

Dodson, Jones, Sparks and Teiken will be based out of BW's regional headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa. Penman will be based in BW's Bentonville, Ark., office.
