Bosselman to License Four Travel Centers With Pilot

GRAND ISLAND, Neb.-- Grand Island, Neb.-based Bosselman Cos. entered into a license agreement with the Knoxville, Tenn.-based Pilot Travel Centers LLC, signaling the intent to rebrand four Bosselman Travel Centers in Nebraska and Kansas as Pilot Travel Centers.

Adding the four Bosselman locations will increase the Pilot network to 264 locations in 39 states and will give it needed coverage in Kansas and Nebraska. The four locations will be owned, operated, managed and branded Bosselman, but will carry the Pilot gasoline brand.

"It's especially great news for our thousands of fleet customers, who will have the convenience of using their Pilot fleet cards at these high-volume interstate locations," said Jimmy Haslam, president and CEO of Pilot Travel Centers LLC.

Charlie Bosselman, vice president of Bosselman Inc., said, "The market today continues to be gallon-driven, and fleet customers are the largest customer base out there. Pilot has really set the standard for fleet marketing and is truly the best marketer out there. Pilot's ability to direct gallons, along with its strength in marketing, buying power and size, makes it possible for Pilot to offer more competitive retail pricing and greater value to the consumer than we were ever able to provide on our own."

The Bosselman family of companies includes six Travel Centers, seven Grandma Max's Restaurants, 37 Pump & Pantry convenience stores; wholesale oil, fuel and propane delivery; truck, tank and trailer repairs; environmental services for the petroleum industry; condominiums and farming.
