Arizona ExxonMobil Stations Switch to Circle K

TEMPE, Ariz. -- ExxonMobil On the Run gas stations that were closed Friday were expected to reopen Saturday as a Circle K.

Canada-based Alimentation Couche-Tard, which owns Arizona Circle K stations, finalized the purchase of 43 On the Run stations across the Valley last week, said Scott Stevenson, Circle K real estate and development director for the region in an Azcentral.com report.

Circle K now boasts 521 Arizona stations, more than any other company, according to Department of Weights and Measures records, and Stevenson said most of the stores would be converted over the weekend, while a few will take longer in order to replace equipment.

Once reopened, the stores will sell Circle K-branded fuel.

Couche-Tard announced it was purchasing the 43 stores owned and operated by ExxonMobil in Arizona, and 450 ExxonMobil franchise stores in 28 states.
