Arizona Circle Ks To Offer Self-Service Bill Payment

PHOENIX, Ariz. -- Cox Communications Arizona announced that Cox customers can now pay their bill at approximately 200 participating Circle K stores 24 hours a day and five Cox Digital Stores throughout Arizona beginning on Sept. 15. Cox Arizona is the first Cox system nationwide to offer customers access to self-service bill payment.

"Zaplink kiosk locations across Arizona now offer a convenient and easy way to pay Cox Communications bills for the Cox customers that visit Circle K everyday," said Dan Stiel, financial services manager for Circle K.

The Zaplink terminals located in Circle K stores serve approximately 70,000 customers every month and are growing in the Arizona market. Zaplink’s list of applications include bill payment for major wireless, utility and cable companies, maps and directions, prepaid local dial tone and mobile content and money transfer services. Customers can pay their bill on the spot with a cash payment using an account number or home telephone number.

"Customer service, ease and convenience are the cornerstone of our business," said Steve Rizley, vice president and region manager of Cox Communications. "Our partnership with Circle K and Info Touch enable us to continue our goal of providing ease and simplicity to every customer touch point. We are excited to be giving our customers the ability to make a self-service payment in their own neighborhood."
