7-Eleven, Petro-Canada Partner with Nokia for Phone Debut

TORONTO -- With the Canadian launch of the Nokia 2760 mobile phone, 7-Eleven and Petro-Canada -- two Canadian Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNO) -- will sell the devices in their stores.

"With the Canadian launch of the Nokia 2760 mobile phone, Canadian consumers now have access to a stylish handset that is easy to use and incorporates the features they want most," Dave Bergeron, director of new channel development for Nokia Canada, said in a statement. "Thanks to MVNOs, such as 7-Eleven and Petro-Canada, quality mobile phones like the Nokia 2760 are now more widely available to Canadian consumers, giving them more freedom of choice and an enhanced consumer experience."

The Nokia 2760 is available at 7-Eleven and Petro-Canada locations, according to the company, and will be available at other Canadian retailers before the end of 2007.

The handset features a compact fold-design and a fully customizable menu, along with Bluetooth technology, a VGA camera with a four-time zoom and an FM radio.
