Rutter's Kicks Off Third 'Vote With Your Dollars' Campaign

YORK, Pa. — Rutter's Farm Stores is launching its third Vote With Your Dollars philanthropic program.

To qualify, local 501c charities that focus on helping children in the surrounding communities must submit an application to the Rutter's Children's Charities donation committee.

Rutter's customers will then select the charity of their choosing, and every dollar spent at the pump or inside a Rutter's convenience store counts as a vote toward that selected charity. The winning three charities will receive the amount they requested.

"We are very excited to continue our Vote With Your Dollars program for the third year," said Chief Customer Officer Derek Gaskins. "Customers can support their preferred charity by using the technology behind Rutter's mobile app, website and loyalty program. Once logged into their Rutter's Rewards account on a computer or mobile device, customers then choose the charity they want to support."

This year's charities include:

  • Adams County SPCA
  • Diakon Adoption and Foster Care
  • House of Hope in York
  • Leg Up Farm
  • Make-A-Wish Greater Pa. & W.V.
  • Ryan's Hope
  • TrueNorth Wellness Services
  • West York Borough Police K9 Unit
  • York Habitat for Humanity
  • York Jewish Community Center

Rutter's is a family-owned convenience store chain operating more than 60 locations throughout central Pennsylvania.
