QuikTrip Makes First-Ever 'Companies That Care' List

TULSA, Okla. — QuikTrip Corp. made its first-ever appearance on People magazine’s "50 Companies That Care" list.

People partnered with Great Place to Work to identify the top U.S. companies caring for their communities, their employees and the world. The rankings are based on surveys of 368,298 employees at nearly 1,000 companies across the country.

The Tulsa-based convenience store chain came in at No. 38 on the ranking. According to People, QuikTrip stands out for its commitment to training and growing its employees and supporting them with great benefits, even for part-timers.

QuikTrip employees interested in learning and growing receive career counseling. Employees can also take free, on-site college courses in areas like business, marketing and accounting. Classes can be transferred to other universities.

QuikTrip operates more than 700 convenience stores in 11 states.
