Imperial Oil Offers Gas Discount
CALGARY, Alberta -- Imperial Oil Ltd (Esso) began a new promotion through a partnership with Points.com and Clearwave Communications, offering customers a chance to receive a 15-percent bonus in points when they swap point balances from major loyalty programs, such as Aeroplan and HBC Rewards, into their Esso Extra accounts, the company reported.
The offer is available by visiting http://clearwave.org/freegas, and the offer expires Nov. 30, 2009.
Esso Extra's program normally rewards customers with one point for every dollar spent at Esso service stations, and the points can be redeemed for gas, food and more.
The Esso-branded retail network contains almost 2,000 sites, many include On the Run or Tiger Express-branded convenience stores, Tim Hortons outlets, Royal Bank automatic teller machines and car washes, all designed to provide fast, convenient and friendly service.
