Hunt Brothers Pizza Expands Menu With WingBites

NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Hunt Brothers Pizza expanded its menu with the addition of new boneless, breaded WingBites, consisting of bite-sized pieces of white breast meat in Buffalo and Home Style flavors. To commemorate the menu expansion, Hunt Brothers will send two music fans to this year's Country Music Festival in Nashville.

"Chicken and snack foods continue to be hot sellers in the food industry, so it only made sense to expand the popularity of Hunt Brothers Pizza's Wings with our new boneless WingBites," said Keith Solsvig, vice president of marketing. "WingBites did extremely well in our test markets, particularly among women and kids looking for an easy, flavorful snack option, so we're excited to make this great product available to all of our consumers."

Hunt Brothers is partnering with the Country Music Association (CMA) to offer a six-day, five-night, grand-prize sweepstakes trip for two to the 2012 CMA Music Festival. Fans must simply visit the Hunt Brothers Pizza Facebook page to enter. They can also redeem proofs of purchase from Wings and WingBites boxes to receive to receive CMA water bottles. Additionally fans can enter on the Facebook page, as well as on Hunt Brothers' Twitter page, @hbpizza, to win CMA prize packs and single-night tickets to the festival.

"Country Music fans are not just loyal, they also have great taste and strong family values," said Sarah McGrady, manager of strategic partnerships for CMA. "Hunt Brothers Pizza aligns perfectly with our demographic, and CMA is excited to partner together for this unique promotion."

In a second online contest, Hunt Brothers, the sponsor of two of Richard Childress Racing's NASCAR Nationwide Series teams and the No. 29 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series team with Kevin Harvick, is giving NASCAR fans a chance to win big this spring with its “Flat Kevin Photo Contest.”

"NASCAR fans are some of Hunt Brothers Pizza's most vocal and loyal fans, so we really wanted to make the 2012 NASCAR season all about building that fan excitement," said Solsvig. "We see the Flat Kevin Photo Contest, as well as all of our other planned contests and giveaways this year, as a great way to have some fun, get the fans involved and reward their loyalty."
