Hess Extends Contract With Fleet One

NEW YORK -- Hess Corp. has extended its existing multi-year contract with Fleet One, a provider of fuel cards and fleet-related payment solutions. Under the extension, Fleet One will continue to issue and process Hess-branded fleet fueling cards until 2019, the company said.

"We are dedicated to growing and providing our commercial fleet customers [with] a great experience, and Fleet One has performed," said Rick Lawlor, vice president, retail marketing for Hess. "We appreciate that Fleet One is working hard to bring new customers into our stores."

Hess customers can use Fleet One fuel cards at convenience stores, truck stops and maintenance merchants to capture purchasing data and pay for fuel and fleet maintenance. "We are honored that Hess would extend their confidence and contractual relationship with Fleet One," said Robert "Bert" Nix, Fleet One’s vice president of merchant acceptance. "We are well aware of Hess' sterling reputation within the industry and the emphasis they place on the customer experience. Partnering with Hess makes Fleet One a better company."

Hess operates more than 1,350 gas stations and c-stores in 18 states.
