NEW YORK -- Hess Corp. and Casey’s General Stores Inc., were named among America's 100 Most Trustworthy Companies in a survey published by Forbes. The annual survey identifies the 100 businesses on American exchanges with the most transparent and conservative accounting practices and most prudent management.
Hess Corp., based in New York, made this year’s list in the large-cap category, while Casey's General Stores in Ankeny, Iowa, made the list in the mid-cap category.
Forbes partners on the survey with Audit Integrity, an independent financial analytics company, which looks beyond the raw data on income statements and balance sheets to assess the true quality of corporate accounting and management practices.
