Handee Marts Extends McLane Contract
TEMPLE, Texas -- McLane Co. Inc., headquartered here, reached an agreement with Gibsonia, Penn.-based Handee Marts, Inc., operator of 63 7-Eleven locations, to be the retailer's primary wholesale-distributor through at least 2012.
"The extension of our service agreement with McLane continues an outstanding relationship and provides us the service, technology and products that have helped us grow our business," Bruce Earhart, vice president of marketing for Handee Marts, said in a written statement. "Our stores' product mix and high quality of service reflect the importance of providing our customers with the best possible purchasing experience. We know McLane feels the same way about Handee Marts."
Founded in 1969, Handee Marts holds exclusive rights to operate stores in 20 counties in Western Pennsylvania, 14 counties in Northeastern Ohio, one county in Maryland and two counties in West Virginia.
