Giles Foodservice Equipment opened up a new line of foodservice equipment with its Giles Holding Cabinet, which is designed to keep cooked foods hot, moist and flavorful until peak demand occurs, the company stated. Units may be purchased as standalone unit or in "double-stacked" configuration, and feature a door latch, inch-thick ceramic insulation, casters, moisture control and a basic temperature controller, according to the company. The interior components can be disassembled for easy cleaning, and each cabinet can hold up to five full size sheet pans or five Gastronome pans, the company stated.
