GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Outsite Networks Inc. are planning to integrate the Gilbarco Veeder-Root Passport POS system and Outsite Networks loyalty technology.
The technology will allow retailers to track consumers' activity and behavior and target real-time promotions based on their behavior, with the ultimate aim of increasing loyalty and lifting retailer sales and profits.

"Integrating Passport with Outsite Networks loyalty technology will greatly enhance a retailer's ability to change customer behavior and compete in today's marketplace."
Anton Bakker, president for Outsite Networks, said Gilbarco's Passport system provides interface and data access capabilities that enhance his company's loyalty solution in ways not available with other POS systems in the market. "Outsite Network customers using Passport will benefit from increased consumer targeting, market basket analysis and lower implementation costs," said Bakker.
