    Gilbarco Passport High-Speed Help Desk Enabled on Cybera ONE Platform

    The company certified Cybera's solution to further improve Gilbarco Help Desk speed of service.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. -- The Cybera ONE security and application services platform enables Gilbarco to deliver better and faster support for thousands of stores using Gilbarco applications through secure and PCI-compliant broadband communications, the company reported.

    Customers can now receive the latest features and performance enhancements in a matter of minutes, according to Andrew Robinson, director of point of sale marketing at Gilbarco Veeder-Root.

    "Gilbarco recently certified Cybera's SCA-110 Security Appliance, which is an integral part of the Cybera ONE platform, to further improve Gilbarco Help Desk speed of service. Now retailers can further increase uptime, reduce costs and simplify software upgrades by using the Cybera One Services Platform in conjunction with their Gilbarco Passport point of sale," Robinson said in a released statement.

    The Cybera ONE platform and associated SCA-110 Security Appliance come pre-configured for Gilbarco equipment to work seamlessly with Passport point-of-sale system, Wisdom Intelligent Device Management system for remote monitoring of store devices, and Applause Media System for promoting in-store merchandise at the pump, according to the company.

    "PCI-DSS requirements have made in-store networking highly complicated, which can make the roll out of new technology solutions either resource intensive or not viable for most store operators," said Dan Glennon of Cybera Inc. "With our Cybera ONE services platform, we've made Gilbarco's secure help desk services easier to deploy for the benefit of Gilbarco customers."
