    Gilbarco Launches Facebook Contest

    New contest demonstrates Passport's social media and loyalty program skills at this year's NACS Show.

    GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root launched a new Facebook contest to demonstrate how its Passport POS can support social media and loyalty programs. By visiting the company's corporate Facebook page and downloading the barcoded coupon image to a phone or other electronic device, retailers can bring the coupon to the Gilbarco Veeder-Root booth at NACS to claim a prize, the company reported.

    In addition, retailers can take the receipt of this transaction and enter it for a drawing, and one lucky winner will receive an iPad. The company will announce the winner on its Facebook page and ship it to the winner after the show.
