Gilbarco Encore Flexible Fuel Dispensers UL listed for E85
GREENSBORO, N.C. – Gilbarco Encore flexible fuel dispensers have received Underwriters Laboratories' (UL) UL87A approval for use with fuels containing up to 85 percent ethanol (E85), the company reported.
New Gilbarco Encore E85 flexible fuel dispensers will now bear the UL Listing Mark.
"We are pleased to be leading the development of the infrastructure required for alternative fuels, including increased use of ethanol," Chad Johnson, marketing manager for Encore dispensers at Gilbarco Veeder-Root said in a released statement. "The Encore S Flexible Fuel dispensers for E85 provide our customers with the same innovative, money-making features and durability they enjoy with the gasoline models."
The Encore S and Encore 300 dispenser models now UL Listed for use with E85 with the Flexible Fuel option include:
-- Multi-Hose MPDs
-- Single Hose MPD +1 (on the +1 hose)
-- Blender dispenser +1 (on the +1 hose)
-- Multi-Hose +1 Blender dispensers (on the +1 hose)
With the Flexible Fuel option, these models are also approved for use with E25, according to the company.
