GREENSBORO, N.C. -- Gilbarco Veeder-Root and Odysii are offering retailers a new technology at the pump -- one that allows customers to purchase in-store merchandise during the fueling process in order to increase in-store traffic and sales, and decrease transaction costs, the companies announced.

"Our goal is to drive fueling customers into the store and make it easy for loyal c-store shoppers to buy their favorite items. As an added benefit, [email protected] is a one card-swipe transaction, which means our retailers see a lower transaction fee."
Gilbarco's Encore dispenser line enables [email protected], which works with any point-of-sale system, while Odysii's intelligent upselling system enhances the technology to optimize promotions based upon customer profile and transaction history, weather, time of day, retailer promotions and more.
