Free Car Washes July 4th at Terrible's

LAS VEGAS -- Terrible's Car Wash is offering a free car wash to local members of the military, police and firefighters at full serve and express locations in Reno and across southern Nevada, to say “thank you” to the men and women who protect and serve, the company reported.

"These men and women put their lives on the line for all of us every day,” said Troy Herbst of the Herbst family. “They don't ask for the spotlight, they don't ask for thanks, they just risk their lives for the good of the community. This is our way of saying 'thank you' by shining a spotlight on them and on their cars for the day."

Also, everyone who gets an oil change July 4, will receive a free car wash. Both offers are good from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 4.

Terrible's Car Wash was the first "green" car wash in Nevada, and has been recognized by the Southern Nevada Water Authority for being a water-smart car wash. Terrible's recycles between 40 and 50 percent of its trash, approximately nine tons per week.
