Former Kwik Trip Foodservice Director Pleads Guilty to Embezzlement

LA CROSSE, Wis. -- A former Kwik Trip employee charged with stealing more than $140,000 from the convenience store chain was put on probation in court this week.

Craig Groskreutz, the 37-year-old former director of food services for Kwik Trip, plead guilty to one count of felony embezzlement, WKBT.com reported. Groskreutz wrote 15 fraudulent invoices within two years through his own company, "Dolly's Crafts, Gifts and Memories" to Kwik Trip, totaling $141,555.76, according to prosecutors.

On Thursday, La Crosse County Circuit Court Judge Elliot Levine delayed Groskreutz's sentencing and placed him on three years probation, according to the report.
