JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --Acosta Sales & Marketing, a consumer packaged goods (CPG) sales and marketing agency, has partnered with Quality Sales & Marketing (QSM), a foodservice agency in North and South Carolina.
QSM's current management team will continue to manage the company, its local go-to-market strategies and Food Mark technology, the companies said in a joint statement.
"At QSM, we believe people are the cornerstone of our business," said Michael Flintom, the company's CEO. "One of the many things about joining Acosta is the culture its leadership has created focusing on people, teamwork and trust. Additionally, Acosta's long-term plan for the food service market will provide us with economies of scale and increased speed to market with our CPG company partners and customers."
Acosta entered the foodservice channel last month, via a partnership with Venture Sales Group, a foodservice sales agency in the Northeast United States.
"Just one month after establishing our presence in the foodservice industry, we are excited to announce that we are quickly expanding our footprint through a partnership with QSM," said Acosta president and CEO Robert Hill. "QSM's superior sales representation and regional presence are a natural fit with Acosta and our growing foodservice business."
