NEW YORK -- Convenience Store News' fifth annual Store Design Contest is now accepting entries. The awards will be presented based on the size of the project and overall look of the store, including interior layout, use and effectiveness of signage and logos, exterior, property and landscaping. A new category added this year is Best "Green" Design for companies that incorporated advanced sustainability and energy-saving concepts into their new designs.
Construction and remodels must have taken place between January 2009 and February 2010, and the winners will be featured in the May 24 issue of CSNews. For more details download the entry from www.csnews.com. Also, entries may be submitted by a retailer or the design firm on behalf of the retailer.
