FACTOR Reels in New Retailers

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Five oil and gas companies recently signed on with FACTOR, a division of W. R. Hess Co., to install its Microsoft Windows-based business management software that streamlines operations and improves productivity for wholesale and retail petroleum marketers.

"We are pleased to add these five companies to the FACTOR family," Ted Elston, vice president of marketing, said in a written statement. "By choosing the industry leader in automation solutions, these companies will experience enhanced productivity and increased profitability. I look forward to watching them reap the benefits of their investment in our innovative technology solutions."

Al Park Petroleum Inc., of Elko, Nev., and Downard Distributing Inc., of Carrollton, Ohio, purchased FACTOR ExecuTrak systems. Three other companies that selected ExecuTrak also implemented FACTOR's convenience store automation module, StoreTrak. Those companies are Dyno Oil Company Inc., of Spencer, Iowa; Riggins Inc., of Vineland, N.J., and The Service Oil Co. of Colby, Kan. StoreTrak is a secure, Web-based back office system that offers scanning and inventory management.
