NEW YORK -- Glaceau's enhanced water brand Vitaminwater gave the masses the chance to create the next flavor in the line through a Facebook promotion called the Flavorcreator Lab, accessible at www.facebook.com/flavorcreator.
The chosen flavor -- black-cherry lime -- will be available nationwide March 2010. It will contain a multi-vitamin blend including Vitamin A and Zinc, as well as caffeine.
The promotion is not over, as Facebook users now have a chance to design the label for the new bottle and draft the clever copy describing the flavor and function. Facebook fans will vote for their top 10 label designs, and Vitaminwater partners Carrie Underwood and 50 Cent will help choose the winning design, which will be awarded a $5,000 prize.
