ExxonMobil Partners with Pinnacle

ARLINGTON, Texas -- Pinnacle Corp. yesterday announced today the certification of its Palm Point of Sale software for operation on ExxonMobil's EMV1 network platform.

"The ExxonMobil certification reflects our continued commitment to support the evolution of this important network," said Pinnacle President Bob Johnson. "One of the strategic strengths of our Palm POS is Pinnacle's dedication to supporting the widest possible array of credit networks. As the networks evolve, the market expects their POS providers to keep up. That's exactly what we intend to do."

The certification covers Palm version 7.5, Pinnacle's latest release of its award-winning POS application. Palm was previously certified on Exxon's Heritage platform. Palm POS is a 32-bit in-store POS system specifically designed for the convenience store and petroleum industries. Running under the Microsoft Windows family of operating systems, Palm utilizes scanning and touchscreen technology, eliminating the need for an external keyboard. Palm's graphical user interface makes it easy to learn, Johnson said, reducing training time significantly.

Palm is also compatible with most fuel dispensing equipment and dispenser card readers.
