TEMPLE, Texas -- McLane Co. Inc. and ExxonMobil Corp. signed a new agreement in effect through 2011, where McLane will distribute food and nonfood products to Exxon and Mobil retail locations throughout the U.S.
"Our strong business growth has benefited from the business relationship, technology and service provided by McLane Co.," Michael Gore, ExxonMobil Fuels Marketing US CORS sales manager, said in a statement. "McLane has been and will continue to be an important part of our success."
There are more than 1,200 Exxon and Mobil branded, company-operated and On the Run franchise stores in the U.S.
"McLane is pleased to continue to support the growth of ExxonMobil. Their market leadership position and their excellent management team have made our business relationship a very successful one," Peter Leavitt, senior vice president of sales and marketing for McLane, said in a statement. "ExxonMobil has an outstanding reputation for innovation, the efficient use of technology, customer service and rapid responsiveness to the changing market needs."
