E-Z Mart Launches Newly Enhanced Website

TEXARKANA, Texas -- E-Z Mart Stores launched a new website on March 1. The operator of 300 convenience stores in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas collaborated with OpenStore by GasBuddy on the project.

The new site, which is fully integrated with a mobile application (app), allows customers to update gas prices, locations, in-store promotions and more. Consumers can also send feedback from their mobile phone, review job postings and receive time-sensitive electronic mobile coupons.

"We are excited about the partnership with OpenStore to reach our customers as they seek alternative ways to shop. The ability to connect with them while on the move with deal alerts and in-store promotions gives E-Z Mart a way to interact with our customers as never before," said Bubba Kirkland, senior vice president of Merchandising/Foodservice at E-Z Mart.

Connecting clients to their customers is a top goal for OpenStore by GasBuddy, added co-founder and CEO Jason Toews. "We are excited to be partnering with E-Z Mart and look forward to possibilities that our new digital marketing strategies will provide," he stated.

Texarkana, Texas-based E-Z Mart is a privately owned c-store operator founded in 1970 by Jim Yates.

Gaithersburg, Md.-based OpenStore by GasBuddy offers c-store operators a variety of Internet-related technology solutions. Earlier this month, the company was purchased by Oil Price Information Service (OPIS).
