Dunkin' Donuts Debuts New Web Site

CANTON, Mass. -- Dunkin' Donuts introduced a new, redesigned Web site at www.dunkindonuts.com, the company announced. The new design incorporates social media and mobile usability, among other features.

The layout is inspired by Dunkin Donuts' fast and friendly service, according to John Costello, Chief Global Customer and Marketing Officer at Dunkin' Brands. "By offering even more information that our guests frequently ask for, I'm hopeful that this new website will be both useful and entertaining, while serving up an excellent experience for our guests," said Costello. Taking advantage of the rise of mobile internet browsing via smart phones, the site's redesign has a mobile-friendly layout that provides easier navigation, according to the company. Customers will be able to locate Dunkin' Donuts locations near them and even use the new Trip Planner to map how to get there. They will also be able to find out detailed information about these locations, including store hours, in-store Wi-Fi, restaurant menu options and drive-thru availability, along with news, promotions and products related to their local stores. The nutrition section of the site provides facts for Dunkin' menu items and lets users customize the results.

The new site also integrates live feeds from Dunkin' Donuts' Twitter, Facebook and YouTube pages. The company currently has more than 3 million Facebook fans and 74,000 Twitter followers, according to a prepared statement.
