MT. STERLING, Ill. -- Food redistributor Dot Foods formed a new partnership with General Mills. Starting Jan. 16, Dot will distribute General Mills dry products to its convenience store distributors.
"We're excited to offer General Mills products to our customers," said Jeff Adams, senior business development manager of Dot Foods. "We think our convenience store distributors will appreciate having access to these products, and we look forward to the partnership with General Mills."
Through the partnership, Dot's distributors will be able to purchase General Mills products such as Gardetto's, Chex Mix, Bugles and Nature's Valley. They will also offer customers an order minimum of one case with weekly deliveries and short lead times, the company said.
Dot Foods Inc. carries 100,000 products from 700 food industry manufacturers and services distributors in all 50 states.
