Decaf 5-Hour Energy

Decaf 5-Hour Energy, produced by Living Essentials, is meant for those who avoid caffeine but still need an extra boost. The energy drink contains only 6 milligrams of caffeine -- as much as a half-cup of decaffeinated coffee – but absent is niacin, which can cause flushing in rare cases, the company reported. The 2-ounce, shot-sized drink has a light citrus flavor, is only four calories and has no sugar. It can count B vitamins, amino acids and choline – a nutrient that helps with cognitive function – as benefits. A new 5-Hour Energy three-flavor rack counter display is also available from the company. The display holds 36 bottles – 12 each of berry, lemon-lime and orange flavors -- and measures 6.25 inches wide by 7 inches long. According to AC Nielsen data, 5-Hour Energy earns $3.29 per square inch of retail space -- 5.1 times more than the leading candy, Living Essentials stated.
