Dannon Activia

Dannon has introduced a yogurt that the company says will help consumers achieve digestive regularity in two weeks. Activia, a low-fat probiotic yogurt with the culture Bifidus Regularis, works by reducing the time it takes food to travel through the digestive system. According to the company, studies have shown that the digestive time can be reduced by 40 percent. The yogurt comes in six flavors -- Strawberry, Peach, Blueberry, Vanilla, Prune and Mixed Berry -- and is packaged in 4-ounce cups, with 24 cups to a case. Dannon offers Activia point-of-sale materials, such as table tents, counter cards, shelf danglers and brochures.
