Cumberland Farms and Gulf Reconstruct Senior Management Roles

NEWTON, Mass. -- Cumberland Farms and its subsidiary Gulf Oil will reconstruct its management platform, enabling company owners of the convenience store and branded marketing oil company to take advantage of revolving market opportunities, the company told CSNews Online.

"We have decided that we are at a point in our development where we can best take advantage of opportunities in the marketplace by leveraging the capabilities of the two organizations in a more controlled environment," Joseph Petrowski, the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer of Cumberland Farms-Gulf, told CSNews Online.

Petrowski assumed Lily Bentas position, who will continue as the Chairman of the Board of the Cumberland Farms group. Ronald Sabia, currently Gulf’s Chief Operating Officer, will assume Petrowski’s previous position as president of Gulf Oil LP.

Ari Haseotes, former marketing executive at Cumberland Farms, was named president of Cumberland Farms Retail. Both presidential appointees will report to Petrowski.
