Foodservice operators can balance food safety and quality when dealing with ready-to-eat food items using the new Culinary Classics Crisp Food Container by Anchor Packaging. The one-piece black tray and hinged, clear, vented lid provide a proprietary engineering design to solve heat retention and food quality issues, according to the company. The patented, cross-flow vents are designed to relieve moisture and condensation, while maintaining product temperature. The packaging also features through-the-closure ventilation, raised airflow channels in the base of the container and an anti-fog lid. It can withstand up to 230 degrees when placed in warming unit displays and under heat lamps, according to the company. The Crisp Food Container can hold up to eight large pieces of chicken, as well a variety of other fried food items.
