Clark MasterCard Introduced

November 04, 2009 - NAPERVILLE, Ill., BALTIMORE, Md. and OMAHA, Neb. -- Issued by First National Bank of Omaha, a new Clark Platinum Edition MasterCard was unveiled by Clark Brands LLC, Crown Central LLC and First National Credit Card Center (FNCCC).

The credit card is designed to increase consumer loyalty and add value to Clark's and Crown's brand programs, and is co-branded with both their logos to broaden the scope and reach of the new card.

"This card will provide value to our licensees, their dealers and retail customers, and will enhance the value of the Clark brand," stated Karl Goodhouse, Clark's president. "We're able to offer a very competitive, co-branded credit card that provides great rewards with First National and Crown as our partners."

Bob Fritz, general manager of Crown Central, added: "The combination of a great consumer credit card product provided through First National Bank, and the Crown and Clark store networks, creates a natural geographic alliance. This partnership will provide benefits for all of our retail customers and store licensees."

The Clark Platinum Edition MasterCard card provides the following benefits:

-- 4 percent cash back on qualifying purchases made at participating Clark and Crown locations every day after the introductory period;

-- 1 percent cash back on all qualifying purchases made anywhere other than a Clark or Crown location.

-- $25 in cash rewards once 2,500 points are earned. Cardholders will be able to redeem cash rewards through online account access or by calling FNBO. Customers will be able to receive a check or statement credit, or they will be able to have the money deposited into a bank account.

-- During the launch, 10 percent cash back will replace 4 percent cash back on qualifying purchases made at participating Clark and Crown locations during the first two billing cycles after the account is opened.

"This program will provide Clark and Crown retailers with an excellent way to reach new customers and retain existing ones, while providing their customers a valuable financial tool with rewards," said Stephen F. Eulie, president of First National Credit Card Center.
