Former Kroger C-store President Passes Away

November 02, 2009 - MESA, Ariz. -- Danny Garold McMullin, 65, former president of Kroger's Mini Mart retail chain, passed away Aug. 21. He retired from the company in 1999 after 47 years in he grocery channel, and established the WY Business Council in 1997.

McMullin is survived by his wife, Donna, two sisters, six children 10 grandchildren, and one niece and one nephew.

Services were held Aug. 27, at Mountain View Funeral Home and Cemetery in Mesa. In lieu of flowers, donations were accepted for a sound system at Sunland Springs Chapel Church in Mesa.
