7-Eleven to House Additional 24-Hour Check Deposit Kiosks

October 01, 2007 - DALLAS -- Financial Services Centers Cooperative Inc. (FSCC), a credit union shared branch network, has provided 2,000 7-Eleven convenience stores across the nation with 24-hour check depositing kiosks, which allows customers to access credit union services, the company stated.

The self-serve kiosks, owned and operated by Cardtronics, are known as Vcom terminals and also provide ATM services to other financial services -- including depositing checks, withdrawing cash, making loan payments, transferring cash between accounts, obtaining credit advances, making balance inquiries and obtaining copies of recent history statements, the company stated.

"The combination of FSCC's technology and the Vcom distribution channel will revolutionize how consumers perform routine financial transactions," Sarah Canepa Bang, CEO of FSCC, said in a statement. "We believe members of Generation Y will find this channel very appealing."

The Vcom terminals are located in major markets including Dallas, Denver, Miami, Orlando, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Portland, San Diego and Seattle. A list of participating locations can be found on www.cuswirl.com. In some areas, such as Colorado and California, the number of access points for members will approximately double for members. In Florida, the number of Vcom terminals will more than triple, from 196 to nearly 600, the company stated.
