YUKON, Okla. -- The Excel Food Mart here is home to Chester's newest location. The store celebrated its Chester's grand opening Oct. 28, complete with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a guest appearance by Chester the Chicken, who helped with the ceremonies and posed for pictures with local fans.
"We are extremely excited about the addition of Chester's to the Excel Food Mart in Yukon," said store owner Neal Doowner. "We know Chester's marketing and operations support is top notch, and we look forward to providing our customers with their great-tasting fried chicken."
The Excel Food Mart now offers Chester's signature menu items, including fried bone-in chicken, chicken tenders, potato wedges and biscuits. The location is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and also offers dine-in and carry-out options.
