IRVINE, Calif. -- Competisys and EDR Media LLC have formed an alliance to develop a dual-language digital advertising network for its financial kiosks, which are a part of Competysis' MAGA-Fundstream Program that will be used in grocery stores through the Mexican American Grocers Association (MAGA).
Through the program, Competisys will install Internet-based financial kiosks and digital advertising displays at MAGA grocers' locations. The kiosks -- equipped with high resolution displays for advertising provided by EDR -- will offer financial services such as check cashing, prepaid cash cards, remittance cards, and bill payment under the Banco el Mago banner.
"Our goal is to provide unsurpassed financial services dedicated to the Spanish-speaking market, with the support of leading advertisers who want to reach that market," said William Prentice, Chairman and CEO for Competisys. "We selected EDR Media because of its proven expertise and its use of leading digital content management technologies."
EDR has provided customer-centric content for chains such as Best Buy, Costco and Kroger. Competisys is a broadband entertainment and communications operator that is developing the kiosk for use at independent grocers and convenience stores that serve Latino shoppers.
