Comdata Corp. Launches New POS Solution
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. -- Comdata Corp. launched Comdata Smart Solutions, a suite of point-of-sale products designed for convenience stores, truck stops and unattended fuel locations. The solutions allow operators to drive efficiencies by managing all transactions, including retail, fuel, and other services, from a single platform, consolidating profit centers and integrating data to allow merchants to maximize their cost savings, the company reported.
"The Smart Solutions product suite is a direct response to our customers' call for a single solution that can accommodate both convenience store and fuel desk transactions," said Ken Kaley, vice president of operations for Comdata's merchant solutions group.
The new product suite debuted at the NACS Show yesterday, where Comdata Smart Solutions introduced five unique products that include SmartConvenience, the base point-of-sale system with an innovative touch-screen design and flexible settings to accommodate multiple profit centers; SmartDESQ for enhanced diesel fuel transaction processing; and SmartStation software to provide reporting and administrative oversight for managers. Additionally, SmartLock offers secure solutions for unattended fuel locations, while SmartFuel is designed to provide convenience at the diesel fuel island.
