ATLANTA -- The Coca-Cola Co. powered up a new online tool for foodservice operators earlier this year through the relaunch of www.cokesolutions.com, which now provides specialized tools, content and merchandise to help Coca-Cola’s customers attract business, boost sales and enhance operations, things the company said were of more value during challenging economic times.
The CokeSolutions.com Web site debuted in 2006 and targets independent operators, as well as small, regional and mid-size chains and locally operated franchises.
"We’ve transformed www.cokesolutions.com into an even more dynamic resource, demonstrating the added value that The Coca-Cola Co. provides to its foodservice customers," Melissa Bass, senior marketing manager, Foodservice Independent Marketing, Coca-Cola North America, said in a statement. "We listened to customer feedback about how to make the site more compelling with enhanced features and information to help operators improve business performance."
New elements of the Web site include:
--Create-a-Promo: An online tool enabling operators to use their own computers to develop customized point-of-sale materials to drive incremental profits. For example, combo meals can be promoted with the company’s beverages such as Coke Zero, vitaminwater, FUZE, Minute Maid Smoothies and Coca-Cola Specialty Drinks.
-- Partner Offers: Discounts and special offers to Coca-Cola customers from office supply, security, car rental, healthcare, technology and other retailers.
--CokeSolutions Store: Merchandise available for purchase including cups and glasses; environmentally correct "green" selections; point-of-sale and merchandising materials.
--Tie-ins: Merchandise and promotions related to NCAA, NASCAR and holidays.
--Marketing Ideas: Tips, tools and techniques for promotions; customize promotions; and maximize the layout of an operation to build business, increase profitability and bring guests back.
--Business Solutions: Content related to market trends, customer spotlights and case studies, business-building ideas and training tips.
--Product Information: A complete list of all fountain and bottled/canned products available in North America from The Coca-Cola Co., along with downloadable logos.
--The Coke Advantage: Showcases benefits of working with Coca-Cola, to help meet customer’s beverage needs and become more profitable.
--Business Tools: Including profit calculators and trade research, this section equips operators with profit drivers designed to grow business.
--The Sustainability Resource Center: A new resource for those interested in learning more about Coca-Cola’s sustainability efforts, and how to benefit from implementing "green" restaurant practices. It includes an assessment tool, educational information and special offers.
